Xiaolin Showdown is an action-adventure video game based on the Kids WB/CW4Kids cartoon of the same name. It was released on November 14, 2006. Players are able to play as the Xiaolin Apprentices, and one of the game objectives is to get the Shen Gong Wu. It is possible that new Shen Gong Wu were made specifically for this video game. The Shen Gong Wu require the use of “Chi Energy” from the player.

Description

Based on the WB Kids animated series players control 4 warriors, working closely to together to combine their mystical powers, as they advance on their quest. Find and collect Shen Wong Gu while progressing thru an environment filled with hazards, enemies, and collectables. Compete in “Showdowns” that transport your warriors and test your martial arts skills. Battle epic bosses in winner-take all arena style combat. Six playable characters with mystical kung-fu powers.

Gameplay

The gameplay is reminiscent of that of Power Stone and Super Smash Bros. The player’s main goal is to be the last man standing. Players can use Shen Gong Wu to aid them in battle. The player uses an in-game currency called “blessing coins” to buy Wu.
