Joe goodnuff had been eating on a square card table until he bought a new rectangular dining table.the new table is 2ft longer and 1ft wider then the card table it has an area of 24.75ft.how long was a side of his old square card table?

Answer :

3.5+2=5.5 3.5+1=4.5 5.5×4.5= 24.75 The length of his square table was 3.5ft
